The Pediatric Clinic of the Clinical Center of Sarajevo received the first incubator along with additional medical equipment on Monday. The donation came as part of the B92 Fund-organized humanitarian campaign Battle for the Babies. Battle for the Babies is supported by the Federal Ministry of Health and Ministry of Health and Social Care of the Republic of Srpska (RS). Predrag Culibrk On the occasion of the delivery of this medical equipment, press conference was held in KCU Sarajevo, attended by Predrag Culibrk, general director of the Company m:tel, Veran Matic, President of the Board of Directors of B92 Fund, Bernhard Schmitt, regional manager for Southeastern Europe, Acc. Prof. Dr Senka Mesihovic-Dinarevic, Chief of Pediatric Clinic and Director of the Discipline for the Child Health, and Prof. Dr Suada Heljic, Chief of Neonatal Intensive Care Department of the Pediatric Clinic. Predrag Culibrk pointed out that company m:tel, setting example for other companies at the beginning of the campaign, donated to the maternity wards both in Sarajevo and Banja Luka one incubator respectively for intensive care wards, worth approximately KM 58,000. "We will give our best to encourage our business partners, consumers and our employees, to take part in this humanitarian battle, so I appeal to all m:tel users to call number 1411, thus donating KM 1 for the Battle for the Babies," Culibrk added. Reiterating on the big success that the campaing achieved in Serbia, Veran Matic said that the prematurely born babies are the most vulnerable but in the same time the bravest fighters that need all our love and assistance: “Today, we are donating valuable equipment necessary for the babies to survive and breathe. The significance of this donation is obvious. The least we can do for these fighters is to join our efforts and provide them with necessary devices, thus making our society more humane.” Veran Matic B92
