American heavy metal band Metallica performed at Belgrade's Ušče venue late on Tuesday in front of around 30,000 fans.

American heavy metal band Metallica performed at Belgrade's Usce venue late on Tuesday in front of around 30,000 fans. They heard the band's Black Album in its entirety to mark the 20th anniversary of its release. 30,000 flock to Metallica's Belgrade concert James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo took the stage around 9 p.m., following a video clip and the theme from the movie "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly". They opened the show with the song "Hit the Lights". The Black Album, which was number one in more than 25 countries and has sold more than 25 million copies worldwide, was announced by a short movie showing the work on the album, footage from concerts in 1991 and 1992 and the band's photographs. This segment ended with fireworks - in contrast to the rest of the concert that was "entirely without pyrotechnics", said reports.
