Sole survivor of avalanche to receive state stipend
The only survivor in a family that perished last weekend in an avalanche that hit a village in Kosovo will receive state stipend, it has been announced.

The only survivor in a family that perished last weekend in an avalanche that hit a village in Kosovo will receive state stipend, it has been announced. On the orders of President Boris Tadic, the People's Office of the President of the Republic will be providing assistance for five-year old Asmira Reka through her 18th birthday. Sole survivor of avalanche to receive state stipend Ten members of the girl's family died in the village of Restelica, Dragas municipality, when an avalanche buried them under ten meters of snow on Saturday. Another member of the family, a young man, is still unaccounted for. On Monday, nine victims were laid to rest in the village cemetery, with more than 3,000 locals attending the funerals. Previously, the Serbian Ministry for Kosovo decided to send emergency aid in the amount of RSD 2mn to the area.
