President Boris Tadić attended a Christmas mass in the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in the northern Serbian town of Bečej late on Saturday.

President Boris Tadic attended a Christmas mass in the Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in the northern Serbian town of Becej late on Saturday. The president previously attended the Christmas service in the Slovak Evangelical Church in north-western Serbian town of Backi Petrovac. President attends Christmas celebrations Together with Tadic, the mass and the service were attended by Vojvodina Executive Council Chairman Bojan Pajtic and Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning Minister Oliver Dulic. In his Christmas note, the president wished a merry Christmas to Roman Catholic Archbishop of Belgrade Stanislav Hocevar and all Serbian citizens celebrating Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar. In his address, Tadic wished everyone to spend Christmas with their loved ones, in peace and good health, in celebration of life and love and respect for human values. “May this holiday fill your homes with warmth and joy,” the president stated.
