The Victoria Group, one of the leading agro-industrial companies in Serbia, donated over RSD 5mn and that way provided the funds for the purchase of five new Isolette C2000 baby incubators. “Helping the youngest in the fight for their lives is a feeling that cannot be compared to any business success. This way I would like to call on all those brave and responsible people in the country to join the battle for the babies in accordance with their possibilities. It is an obligation of all of us to provide conditions to the babies to win in their heroic battle,” Kurjak stressed. “In the time of depopulation and low birth rates in Serbia that modern Europe is not familiar with, the battle for each newly born life is literally a battle for the nation’s biological survival. In this war the “Battle for Babies” represents one battle in a series that will quite certainly be won thanks to responsibility, care for our own future and the society as a whole of the firms and groups such as the Victoria Group,” Health Protection of Children and Youth Director Georgios Konstantinidis said. “The campaign is extremely important considering that we are a country that has a high newborn mortality rate compared to West Europe. Therefore, I call on all companies to join us in the campaign and that way help us purchase the necessary incubators that our little heroes need,” Pajtic stressed. Citizens can vote for companies they believe can help save human lives at www.bitkazabebe.rs. The citizens will that way choose “hero companies” and call on them to join the campaign. More brave people are joining the “Battle for Babies” campaign each day. Funds for the purchase of more than 40 incubators have been raised in just three weeks.
