B92 Fund's recently launched campaign to collect money to buy new incubators for neonatal wards in Serbian hospitals has had an excellent start, say organizers. The fund's president, Veran Matic, announced that 20 incubators had been ordered thanks to the first donors who joined the campaign, and that this medical equipment would be given to the Neonatology Institute in Belgrade and the Institute for Protection of Health of Children and Youth in Novi Sad. Baby incubator campaign off to good start The campaign, dubbed "Battle for Babies", was launched on September 1 with the goal of collecting funds to buy 100 new incubators. Veran Matic also promoted the website bitkazabebe.rs, and called on the citizens to vote for the best "hero companies", that they believe could help solve this serious problem. Thus far, the list is topped by NIS, Telekom Srbija, Coca-Cola, Philip Morris, Telenor, Delta Maxi, and others. Visitors of the website can also participate through various activities, while the organizers have urged them to offer their testimonials related to the experiences of premature birth, and other topics relevant to the campaign.
