A total of 3,720 citizens received swine flu vaccines on the first day of vaccination in Serbia, the Batut Institute of Public Health said. According to the data from public health institutions on the territory of Serbia, the process of vaccination is being performed at 1,127 healthcare institutions. 3,720 people vaccinated on first day The institute underscored that 139,880 vaccines against swine flu have been distributed so far, adding that the additional immunization is recommended to patients with chronic diseases and women in second and third trimester of pregnancy. There were 506 confirmed cases of the diseases in Serbia through December 17, and 38 cases ended in death, the statement reads. (Tanjug)
