Conference on equality opens in Belgrade

Culture Minister Nebojsa Bradic and British Ambassador in Belgrade Stephen Wordsworth opened an international conference on equality. The gathering, entitled “A culture of equality - how can institutions and individuals contribute to the development of an inclusive society?” will last in Belgrade until October 10. Conference on equality opens in Belgrade The three-day conference, attended by representatives of ministries of education, culture, labor and social policy, as well as by representatives of universities in Serbia, associations gathering the disabled and culture institutions, is a part of the British Council project. It is aimed at the increased inclusion of disabled persons in work and programs of public institutions in Serbia. While opening the conference, Bradic pointed out that this approach signifies social and socially responsible behavior and that he, in his capacity, will commit to that sector intensively.
