The dailies report the latest rift in the caretaker cabinet, over the Horgos-Pozega highway, and RTS chief's involvement in an incident. ALO—"Tijanic slaps in court", says that national broadcaster, RTS, chief Aleksandar Tijanic was involved in an incident in court yesterday, when an LDP official reportedly insulted him, to which he responded with by slapping the man. Press: Highway in ditch "Bread up to RSD 50?", is about speculation that the price of white bread could increase. BLIC—"Stop for Horgos-Pozega highway", says that the government yesterday failed to agree to extend the deadline for the concessionaires PORR and Alpine Mayreder to come up with banking guarantees for the deal. "Tijanic answers to insult with fist", this report about the court incident in Belgrade yesterday upgrades the slap to a punch. "Parties to spend EUR 30mn campaigning", is also on the front page. BORBA—"Chaos of multi-party system", the daily informs that there are as many as 556 registered political parties in Serbia today, where not 20 years ago there was only one. "Beatings and humiliation will not make us stronger", the daily says in its series of investigative articles ahead of the May 11 ballot. "Highway comes to nothing", says that discord within the caretaker government has claims another "victim". DANAS—"In several days concession contract will be broken", the liberal daily looks at the Horgos-Pozega latest. "Concrete tip-offs weren't confirmed", is about the latest search of the homes belonging to the family members of Radovan Karadzic in Bosnia. KURIR—"Cedomir drugged Djindjic's sister", the tabloid claims that Cedomir Jovanovic was involved in an incident several years ago when the sister of late Zoran Djindjic was attacked. POLITIKA—"Stop to Horgos-Pozega highway", the daily leads with the big story out of Serbia yesterday. "Bogdanovic's family: We did not inherit millions", is a report from a news conference called by the wife of the former Belgrade Mayor Nenad Bogdanovic, who died six months ago. The media's been speculating that the Democratic Party (DS) official had left millions of euros in over a dozen bank accounts, to which party chief Boris Tadic also reacted today – more here. PRESS—"Tijanic Tyson!", the tabloid sums up the Palace of Justice incident involving RTS' chief. "War over highway", says that the Horgos-Pozega construction works will not start on April 2, as previously planned, due to rifts in the cabinet.
