The national basketball team snatched a silver medal at the 2007 World University Games in Bangkok late Friday. After a good start, the Serbian team struggled to keep up the pace by the end of the game, losing to Lithuania 85-66. The closing ceremony was scheduled to end with the passing of the Games flag to officials from Belgrade where the next summer edition of the University Games will be held in 2009. Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic will accept the flag in Bangkok tomorrow, from the Prime Minister of Thailand Surayut Chulanon, the government said on its website.
