“We in the local government can agree with the Defense Ministry that all similar buildings need to be relocated, but it would mean a lot to us to know what kind of periods of time we are talking about and when this can be implemented.” Paunović said.He said that the Government has the funds for helping with the demands of the Paraćin and Ćuprija municipalities, because it currently has a lot of money which it has received from foreign investors through privatization, and other sources of income which go towards the Serbian budget.
This discussion comes as a result of the October 19 explosions which occurred in a military warehouse located on the outskirts of Paraćin, which caused large amounts of material damage to both the Paraćin and Ćuprija communities, though no one was killed in the blasts.
