Kusturica appointed as member of Crown Council

BELGRADE Crown Prince Aleksandar II Karadjordjevoc appointed on Friday film director Emir Kusturica as a member of the Crown Council. "It is my great honor and pleasure to formally confirm Your appointment as a member of the Crown Council. The famed Serbian film director has recently announced that he is writing a scenario for a movie about human organ trafficking in Kosovo that would be shot in Russia.

Before that, Kusturica signed in Banja Luka a letter of intent with Director of Italian Opera House La Fenice Cristiano Chiarot for co-production of the opera The Bridge on the Drina River which should premiere in Andrićgrad on June 28, 2014.
