NOVI SAD B92 reporters Slavko Beleslin, Katarina Lazarevic, Bratislav Ilic and Predrag Stojkovic and Editor in Chief Veran Matic have won Press Vitez festival awards. Beleslin and Pink TV’s Radomir Pocuca won Press the Vitez Miloje Mica Orlovic 2012 Award, while B92’s weathercaster Lazarevic won the memorial Press Vitez Kalanj 2012 Award. B92 wins five Press Vitez awards Matic won the Press Vitez Lifetime Achievement Award. Beleslin was awarded as a journalist of high professional standards who has shown over the course of years working in news programs in Serbian electronic media that it is possible to combine the art of speech and good diction with the good knowledge of the news, said judges. According to the judges, Lazarevic is a young reporter who brings “imagination and originality in weather forecasts, making every forecast a special story that brings smile to people’s faces”. She won the award as a “talented and unique reporter who represents a true refreshment in programs of the domestic TV stations”. B92 correspondent from Leskovac Bratislav Ilic won the silver medal in the news program category and B92 correspondent from Pozega Predrag Stojkovic won a special award for video journalism. Matic won the Press Vitez Lifetime Achievement Award for his great contribution to the development of television and investigative reporting in Serbia. Aside from B92 reporters, journalists from a number of media outlets, including RTS, Montenegro's TV Crne Gore, Bosnia's TV BN, and others won this year’s Press Vitez awards. Matić won the Press Vitez Lifetime Achievement Award.
