The Hunger Strike Against Hunger campaign, launched by B92, has won the company the Grand Prix at the EACA Care Awards 2010. Reports said this was the only award of its kind judged by members of the European Parliament. B92 wins EACA Care Awards 2010 The campaign, aimed at reducing poverty in the country, was created for B92 by the Leo Burnett agency in October 2009. The campaign was judged the best among social marketing campaigns from 14 countries aiming to promote elevation of social awareness and care for others which competed for this year’s Care Awards. Campaigns submitted to the EACA Care Awards 2010 covered topical public issues such as public health, environment, public safety, homelessness, domestic violence, child abuse and discrimination. B92’s media push called for action to help an estimated 500,000 poor people in Serbia. It was followed by B92 Fund’s campaign “Food for Everyone” which has so far gathered and distributed food worth more than EUR 1.4mn.
