Thee Holy Synod of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) appointed Metropolitan Amfilohije as new administrator of the Ras-Prizren Diocese. “Kosovo is a deep wound of our Church, as well as what happened with Bishop Artemije,” Metropolitan Amfilohije said in Belgrade, during a promotion of his collected works on Thursday evening, Tanjug news agency reported. Speaking about his literary work that mainly refers to the suffering in Kosovo and Metohija, Amfilohije said that he would assume responsibility to help the clergy and the people suffering in the province, “this time upon the blessing of the Holy Synod”.
