| Six die in three car accidents |

VRANJE, RAŠKA, ŠABAC --
Two people have died in a car crash early this morning near Vranje, in southern Serbia.
Two others sustained serious injuries, while four persons were lightly hurt, reports said.
According to investigators, the accident happened when a German license plates Mercedes, driven by Murat Kaja, switched lanes for unknown reasons, and collided head on with a Renault, killing driver Dejan Tasić and Predrag Ristić, his passenger.
Another passenger was seriously injured.
Kaja suffered from internal bleeding and was taken to the Niš Clinical Center for treatment.
His passengers in the Mercedes, that included his wife, son, daughter-in-law and nephew, are treated in a Vranje hospital and their wounds are not life-threatening.
Later this morning, in Beoci near Raška in southwestern Serbia, two more people died in another traffic accident, police said.
This time, a Fiat with Novi Sad license plates, driven by Dejan N., collided with a Golf registered in Belgrade.
Nenad N., a passenger in the Fiat, died instantly, while Golf's driver Tomislav P. succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
Five more people were injured in the crash.
Two more people died this afternoon in the thrid accident, which happened near Šabac.
A 19 and a 20-year old died when their car skidded off the road, hit a concrete bridge and turned over.
Two others who also traveled in the same Šabac license plates Golf sustained serious injuries.
