Basketball legend Vlade Divac has accepted the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic to be his adviser. Divac told reporters in Belgrade that he was not interested in “politics or money,” but that he was doing it to help the people and enhance humanitarian activities in Serbia. Basketball star accepts Dacic advisory post “The deputy prime minister called me several months ago to explain to me his idea for me to be his adviser for the diaspora, sports and humanitarian work. That is what interests me, and if they want to create something positive, I can advise them,” he said. Divac, who played professionally in the NBA from 1989 to 2005, founded a charity in Serbia which works to provide homes for refugees and displaced persons.
