Three hundred delegates from 53 countries will take part in the gathering, dedicated to global problems in the fields of health and reform implementation, and the session of the regional committee will be held in the national parliament.

During the session, Health Minister Tomica Milosavljeviæ will present the results of health reforms in Serbia.

This year, the WHO will focus on the struggle with mass non-contagious diseases, such as heart disease, obesity and the protection of mothers and children, since that problem is becoming a priority, owing to the big regional disparities in child mortality.
