Religion Minister in controversial meeting

Naumov spoke about Kosovo and Orthodox Christianity as he was attending the premiere of a documentary entitled, “Father Justin,” about the life of Justin Popović, a man who held controversial views even by Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC) standards as he was noted for his opposition to ecumenism.

The regional office of the Srpske Dveri also opened in Čačak Monday.

Naumov told the gathering that “Kosovo cannot be torn from the heart of the Serbian people by the will of world powers.”

“We all know that the current events will be fateful for our nation. Vidovdan is approaching and we will be able to be there [in Kosovo Polje], to show our faith, with which we will battle against the will of those who are more powerful,” Naumov said.

“Being brave means being patient and having good intentions. We cannot be stopped by those who object to everything we are doing in order to protect our interests and dignity,” he said.
