BELGRADE -- Jovica Đorđević said that the Paraćin warehouse explosions may have involved terrorist activities.

“We are talking about sabotage or a diversion because this kind of explosion is not easily produced, and the building, which is of great security importance to the state, cannot be accessed easily,” the former Security Information Agency (BIA) Inspector said.

"The protection of such military buildings as the warehouse in Paraćin is handled by the Military-Information Agency and the Public Security Services, who operatively cover this and counter-informatively protect it," he said.

“Military buildings such as the warehouse in Paraćin have plans for protection. If someone wants to get close to it, they will need to know details of the plan, the map of the buildings, especially since these are warehouses that are not connected, rather individually separated.” Đorđević said.

He also told daily Danas that it is strange that after the explosion, all of the material damage was removed, but no one is saying anything officially on what the cause of the accident was.
