Although 35 percent of Serbians think Kosovo will be independent, only seven percent support this outcome. The results come from the latest public opinion poll, conducted by Belgrade's Strategic Marketing agency, which saw participation from 1,017 citizens, 36 percent of which also said that the province's full integration into Serbia would be the best solution to the ongoing status crisis, but again only seven percent believe this will in fact happen. 7 pct of Serbians support Kosovo independence 17 percent of those interviewed think partition would be the best outcome, while 23 percent also think this is likely to be the outcome. According to the same poll, Serbians view Kosovo today as one of the three most important, but it comes third after concerns about high unemployment rate, and poor standard of living, which are considered the most important issues by 56 and 48 percent of those who took part, respectively. 30 percent of Serbians hold Kosovo as their most important concern, followed by broader economic issues, crime, agriculture, health and Hague cooperation. Joining the EU does not count among the top ten topics of interest to the Serbians, according to Strategic Marketing results. As for political affiliation, those supporting Socialists (SRS) and Radicals (SRS) also give absolute priority to the Kosovo status issue, while Liberals (LDP) and to some degree those voting for G17 Plus talk about EU integration as the most important question facing Serbia. Voters of the largest ruling coalition party, the Democratic Party (DS) and those of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), have a balanced approach to the two issues.
