The suspects are a 24-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man, believed to be the "core" of a group that has been stealing cars "in different composition every time."

The stolen vehicles were hidden in a house rented in Chalkidiki, according to the Greek website Pronews.

The police said that the suspects since July 13 stole four Land Rover vehicles in the wider Kassandra region, and tried to steal another one.

The investigation continues to determine whether the suspects were involved in some other crimes.

The detainees will be brought before the prosecutor of the Chalkidiki region.
