Mandic, speaking on Tuesday during an unscheduled press conference, called on members of the Assembly and supporters of the opposition alliance to respond to regime's attack "in accordance with the traditions of Montenegro."

Speaking about Monday's decision of the Administrative Committee of the Assembly of Montenegro to strip DF official Nebojsa Medojevic of his parliamentary immunity, Mandic said that he "takes responsibility for everything that will happen in Montenegro" and mentioned the possibility of a civil war in the country.

Mandic said that the DF has the right to "self-defense", and that he considers all those who voted to lift Medojevic's immunity his "personal enemies."

According to Mandic, Montenegrin authorities are "battering and humiliating the other Montenegro," while the DF is "ready for everything that will come."

Medojevic was stripped of immunity at the request of the special prosecutor for combating organized crime and corruption, Milivoje Katnic, who is suspecting the MP of money laundering.
