RS Day referendum results "cannot be annulled"

The results of the Serb Republic (RS) Day referendum cannot be annulled, Chairman of the Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency Mladen Ivanic said on Friday.

Only the consequences of the referendum can be annulled, Ivanic, the Serb member of the tripartite rotating presidency, told the website.

The Constitutional Court of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Thursday annulled the results of the September 25 RS Day referendum due to what it said was non-compliance with the BiH constitution.

RS President Milorad Dodik told the Glas Srpske daily the ruling was a direct attack on a nation's democratic right.
