Founder and manager of German internet company Unister Thomas Wagner was killed on Thursday in a plane crash in Slovenia.

Two of the victims have been identified - a 73-year-old who piloted the craft, and Wagner, who was 38 years old.

The US-registered Piper 32 had been flying from Venice, Italy to Leipzig, Germany, AP reported.

The Slovenian police announced that the bodies of the victims were charred as the plane burned down after hitting the ground.

German media reported that all four victims were German citizens. According to the daily Bild, Wagner allegedly carried with him several million euros in a suitcase.

According to AP, Slovenian air traffic control said the pilot reported problems with icing before the aircraft disappeared from the radar.
