Serbia ended 2015 with lowest wages among ex-Yugoslav states

Among the former Yugoslav countries, Slovenia had the highest average monthly salaries at the end of last year - EUR 1,004.

Although salaries in Serbia grew the most during 2015, the average figure was the lowest - EUR 361, Montenegro's state broadcaster RTCG has reported.

In Montenegro, the monthly salary at the end of the year reached EUR 482, while Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina averaged EUR 748 and 422, respectively. In Macedonia, this figure was EUR 365.

The statistical data used for Croatia was from November and for Bosnia and Macedonia from October, the report said.

Bosnia-Herzegovina was the only among these countries that reported lower - by EUR 1.02 - average salaries at the end of 2015 compared to the beginning of the year.
