Serbian president congratulates RS leader on reelection

Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić has congratulated Serb Republic (RS) President Milorad Dodik on his re-election as head of the Serb entity in Bosnia.

This was announced by Dodik's office on Tuesday.

Nikolić also said that Serbia was sincere in its desire to further improve the relations with the RS in order to ensure lasting stability and development in the region.

The Serbian president wished his colleague to be successful in his duties and to bring prosperity to his people.

Dodik won the presidential poll of the general elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina held on October 12 by taking 45.22 percent of the votes.

Ognjen Tadić from the Alliance for Change finished second with 44.19 percent.
