EU will give EUR 195 million to Serbia and Bosnia

The European Union will allocate a total of EUR 195 million for the rehabilitation of flood affected regions in Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

EU will give EUR 195 million to Serbia and Bosnia

Speaking at the international donors’ conference organozed for Serbia and Bosnia after the floods, which was taking place in Brussels today, Fule said that the money in question was coming from EU institutions, and the figure did not include donations by individual member states.

EUR 85 million of the sum will be given to Bosnia-Herzegovina, 80 million to Serbia, and 30 million will be allocated for regional measures to repair damages, Fule said, adding that the EC had asked the member states to provide additional EUR 123 million for further rehabilitation and flood prevention activities.
