PODGORICA A minor explosion happened early on Tuesday at Zeljezara (steel mill) in Niksic, Montenegro, leaving one worker seriously injured. Two others suffered light injuries, it has been reported. It is still unclear what caused the incident. Three workers injured in steel mill explosion The man with serious injuries has been identified as 24-year-old Vojo Matijasevic. The media in Podgorica are saying that the two workers will less serious injures - burns on the faces, arms and legs - are being treated at the general hospital in Niksic. Matijasevic has been transported to Podgorica. The steel mill is operational only during the night, to take advantage of cheaper electricity rates. The company was recently taken over by Turkey's Toscelik. Tanjug

The man with serious injuries has been identified as 24-year-old Vojo Matijašević.

The media in Podgorica are saying that the two workers will less serious injures - burns on the faces, arms and legs - are being treated at the general hospital in Nikšić.

Matijašević has been transported to Podgorica.

The steel mill is operational only during the night, to take advantage of cheaper electricity rates.
