PODGORICA Movement for Changes leader Nebojsa Medojevic has said that Serbs are discriminated in Montenegro. He added that “Montenegrin chauvinism” was at work and that the state wanted to present Serbs as “enemies”. Serbs face discrimination in Montenegro, party leader claims “Events that reek of Montenegrin nationalism and chauvinism are very alarming. People think they are patriots if they humiliate one people, discriminate and represent them as enemies. That is something that used to be done to Montenegrins and other minorities and now it is done to Serbs,” Medojevic stressed. He noted that he despised every form of chauvinism, “especially the Montenegrin one”. “I have always been on the side of the weak and threatened,” the Movement for Changes leader wrote on his Facebook profile. He said that instead of talking about Montenegrin patriotism, one should work on the economy, gross domestic product, wages, rule of law, foreign debt, taxes. “But one must read and know something in order to do that. I do not have time for empty stories about Montenegro being threatened by Serbs, Serbia and the opposition,” Medojevic concluded. Nebojsa Medojevic (Tanjug) Tanjug
