According to him, his entire family knew the suspect, who in the meantime confessed to the crime. He occasionally came to the victim’s house and asked for smaller amounts of money that he regularly returned, probably in order to gain his trust. According to Budapest-based daily Magyar Hirlap, the police are currently searching the woods and it is quite possible that more bodies will be found. Despite earlier media reports that one of the suspects was a Serbian citizen, the Serbian Foreign Ministry said that one of the persons suspected of burying people alive in Hungary was not Serbian, B92 has learned. The Serbian embassy in Hungary and Hungarian police have confirmed that the suspect is not a Serbian citizen. Reports also suggested that the foreigner was a Macedonian citizen, but the MFA in Skopje denied this. The crime scene in Budapest (www.hirado.hu)
