Croatia closed two more chapters in its accession talks with the EU on Tuesday, said reports. At the same time, the EU called on the authorities in Zagreb to devote greater attention to prosecuting unpunished war crimes. Stressing "the overall good cooperation" between Croatia and the Hague Tribunal, representatives of the EU, the AFP said, reiterated that "full cooperation" with the court was still a requisite for continuing the negotiations. Two chapters - Agriculture and Rural Development and Regional Policy and the Coordination of Structural Instruments - were closed at the intergovernmental conference on accession, Croatian news agency HINA reported. Croatia has so far closed 30 out of 35 total chapters.
