Montenegrin Deputy Special Prosecutor for Organized Crime Lidija Vukcevic has remanded all arrestees in a Friday police action in Budva in a 48-hour custody. In the early morning hours Friday, by order of the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office, the police arrested ten persons, including Budva Municipal President Rajko Kuljaca and Deputy Municipal President Dragan Marovic, brother of outgoing Montenegrin Deputy Prime Minister Svetozar Marovic. It is suspected that Kuljaca and Marovic illegally appropriated a large amount of money belonging to the municipality of Budva. The money, the exact amount of which is yet to be determined, was directed into a Budva-based firm Zavala Invest.
