RS president: Tadić, Josipović bring hope

Serbian and Croatian presidents have brought new optimism and new hope to the region, Republic of Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik told daily Politika. He pointed out that good relations between Serbia and Croatia were a prerequisite for stability of the entire region, including Bosnia-Herzegovina. RS president: Tadic, Josipovic bring hope “Peace and stability have no alternative for us. In that sense we can only welcome and support both President Tadic and President Josipovic and all efforts they are making in order to normalize relations in the region,” Dodik was quoted as saying. The RS president stressed that only solutions which had been previously agreed with Banja Luka could be discussed in Sarajevo and that the RS would from now on have a united voice in joint bodies of Bosnia-Herzegovina. “We’re going to Sarajevo as an entity, as defined in the Dayton Accords,” he pointed out and added the country’s officials should jointly agree on issues which were not disputable for any of the three constituent peoples in Bosnia-Herzegovina and implement them.
