Representatives of NGOs in Bosnia-Herzegovina condemned the decision not to use the word genocide in the Serbian parliament's declaration on Srebrenica. At the same time, the Republic of Srpska (RS) is dissatisfied with the fact that not all the crimes committed in the former Yugoslavia are condemned by the declaration. RS, Bosnia dissatisfied with declaration President of the Association "Mothers of Srebrenica and Zepa Enclaves' Munira Subasic stated that the declaration condemning the crime in Srebrenica did not properly label the tragedy, and added that the word genocide cannot be replaced with the word crime. Subasic stressed that the International Court of Justice's (ICJ) ruling determined that genocide was committed in Srebrenica, that the mothers who experienced it know that it was genocide indeed, and added that some criminals were adjudged by the Hague Tribunal, as well as the court in Bosnia, Fena news agency reported. What gives hope, she added, is that some parliamentarians spoke the truth about Srebrenica and that many NGOs in Serbia condemned what had happened. The text of the declaration was also condemned by Bosnia-Herzegovina's branch of the Society for Endangered People, as well as the Association "Women Victims of War". Meanwhile in the Serb republic, President of the RS Association of Families of Captured and Killed Soldiers and Missing Civilians Nedeljko Mitrovic stated that people in RS feel bitterness over the fact that the declaration did not condemn all the crimes committed on the territory of the former Yugoslavia. “I always stress that all crimes should be condemned, and that the judiciary should assess to what extent is one crime more serious than the other by processing individual criminals,” Mitrovic pointed out.
