Glavas was last week convicted to ten years in jail for war crimes committed against Serb civilians in the town of Osijek in the early 1990s. Parliament strips Glavas of immunity The decision to strip him of immunity was confirmed by parliament. This enables Glavas to be held in custody until the court's verdict is made valid.
