The chief suspect in the murder of Croatian journalist Ivo Pukanić, has sent a message to daily Press from the e-mail account of a Slovenian student.

The chief suspect in the murder of Croatian journalist Ivo Pukanic, has sent a message to daily Press from the e-mail account of a Slovenian student. In the message, Zeljko Milovanovic says that he had nothing to do with the murder of the owner of Croatian daily Nacional and his associate Niko Franjic. Pukanic murder suspect contacts daily At the end of the message, where he states that the police want to kill him, not arrest him, Milovanovic gives an e-mail address where he can be contacted for further questions and explanations. According to Slovenian media, it was established that Milovanovic had been using the e-mail address of a 25-year-old student also named Zeljko. Local media state that it is an obvious misuse of the student’s address, though both Slovenian and Croatian dailies question the authenticity of the e-mail.
