Murder spree in Croatia continues The Zagreb police department confirmed that a man had been found dead in a car in the Zagreb neighborhood of Savica, and that he had been killed by two gunshots to the head. Zagreb police spokeswoman Aleksandra Ljuba confirmed that suicide had been ruled out, adding that the identity of the victim had still to be confirmed. Ljuba did not get into details regarding the investigation. Croatian media, however, are releasing unofficial information that the victim is 34 year-old Adrijan Cupic, a professional soldier, who was released from the Croatian military in 2000 after being convicted of rape. Croatian website Indeks stated unofficially that Cupic had been a member of the First Guards Brigade, known as the Tigers, which former Croatian President Franjo Tudjman had had a monument dedicated to. Police could not confirm whether the murder was linked to the murders of Pukanic and Franjic.
