Miroslav Lajcak is yet to decide whether to return documents to the Karadzic family. The international high representative to Bosnia-Hercegovina said earlier today that he was continuing consultations with the representatives of Bosnian institutions about the possible return of personal documents to members of Radovan Karadzic’s family, so that they could and visit him in Belgrade. Karadzic’s daughter, Sonja Karadzic Jovicevic, earlier asked Lajcak to sanction the return of their documents so that the family members could visit the former Bosnian Serb leader in Belgrade, where he is being held in custody. A similar plea was made by Republic of Srpska Prime Minister Milorad Dodik and the Serb Democratic Party. They said that now that Karadzic had been arrested, there was no longer any reason to limit his family’s movements. A spokeswoman for the Banja Luka Office of the High Representative, Ljiljana Radetić, confirmed the information today in a statement given to Beta.

Karadžić’s daughter, Sonja Karadžić Jovičević, earlier asked Lajčak to sanction the return of their documents so that the family members could visit the former Bosnian Serb leader in Belgrade, where he is being held in custody.
