A Montenegrin journalist recently interviewed by B92’s Insider as part of the program’s investigation into the football mafia was attacked on Friday. Mladen Stojovic was assaulted in the Montenegrin port city of Bar. When asked whether Stojovic was under police protection, the ministry said that such information could only be obtained via official channels. Until two years ago, Stojovic worked as Podgorica daily Vijesti’s Belgrade correspondent, and after returning to Montenegro, he started his own sports newspaper. Stojovic was in Belgrade last ten days ago.
