Croat opposition leader quotes Serbian economy figures "We heard that Serbia has exited recession, while Croatia, which has more potential, tradition and production, is not only stagnating - it is rapidly declining," Karamarko said on Tuesday in the town of Medjimurje. He also stated that "15,000 young people" had left the country in 2012. "The government is a catastrophe, closed to any kind of initiative and criticism. It is quarreling with the unions, employers, opposition, Church... This is a truly problematic government and therefore will will ask for early elections," the HDZ leader was quoted as saying. He also urged consensus on "some issue", adding that "it is not only the question of the HDZ being in power, since what is happening in Croatia is a problem of all Croats, not just one party." "The question is, for how long do we want this agony to last - not until the end of the (government) mandate, with unforeseeable consequence for us? We lost a year and a half with them, and cannot put up with this masochistically," Karamarko stated as he was touring local companies in Medjimurje. Tomislav Karamarko (Beta/Hina, file) Tanjug
