Macedonia has requested from the Kosovo authorities to investigate whether Alil Demiri and Afrim Ismailovik are in the territory of Kosovo. Demiri and Ismailovik are suspected of murdering five young Macedonians near Skopje on April 11. The Kosovo police (KPS) are still investigating whether the suspects escaped to Kosovo. “The Macedonian police have requested us to determine the identity of several persons they assume are in Kosovo. We started working on it immediately, but the investigation is still underway,” KPS Spokesman Baki Kelani told Skopje-based daily Nova Makedonija.
