The international high representative in Bosnia on Monday a decision of the country's Central Election Committee (CIK), said reports. The committee last week determined that the House of Peoples in the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina entity was not constituted in keeping with the election law and annulled the decision on the appointment of the president and two vice presidents of the Federation. The Constitutional Court of the Federation should also adopt a decision as to whether the entity's Constitution was violated by the appointment of the new government bodies. The House of Peoples of the Federation was constituted two weeks ago without the delegates of two Croat parties, the Croat Democratic Community (HDZ) of Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Croat Democratic Community 1990, which are represented in three cantons that have not yet been formed. The CIK annulled the appointment of the president and two vice presidents of the Federation and adopted a conclusion according to which cantonal legislative bodies that have not called elections for the House of Peoples are required to do so as soon as possible. Post-war and post-Dayton peace accord Bosnia-Herzegovina is made up of two entities: the Serb Republic (RS) and the Croat-Muslim Federation.

Tanjug learned at the commission that Valentin Inzko's decision regarding the suspension has been delivered to the CIK, but its officials did not wish to comment on it.
