Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor, along with other former PMs, condemned the speech President Ivo Josipovic gave in Bosnia on Thursday. Kosor, who already spoke against the president's statements on Friday, called together all PMs who served in Croatia from mid-July 1991 to the end of January 2000: Franjo Greguric, Hrvoje Sarinic, Nikica Valentic and Zlatko Matesa, as well as vice president in the government team and wartime foreign minister Mate Granic. Current, former PMs scold Josipovic All of them agreed that Josipovic’s claims that Croatia was trying to partition Bosnia-Herzegovina were completely false and absolute lies. Josipovic apologized in Sarajevo for Croatia's participation in a policy aimed at partitioning Bosnia-Herzegovina during the 1990s. Sarinic said that it was a “well-known fact that Croatia was not an aggressor in Bosnia-Herzegovina.” Greguric also said that the statement that Croatia participated in acts aimed at partitioning Bosnia is an “absolute lie,” which “brings great damage to Croatia and makes its international road harder.” Valentic said that the “statements regarding aggression and the partitioning of Bosnia-Herzegovina are historical falsehoods.” “We can guarantee that with our acts, and that is confirmed by many documents. This is what the prime minister said as well, and I think that this is the stance of the majority of Croatian citizens and people,” Valentic said. “It is most important, however, to state that the crimes and aggression in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, and later in Kosovo, were performed by Slobodan Milosevic and the policies of ‘Great Serbia.’” Granic said. Former President Stjepan Mesic said that he was surprised that he was not called into the meeting, since he was the first prime minister to serve in Croatia.
