Montenegrin Deputy Parliamentary Speaker Rifat Rastoder said that his SDP party will support stripping DPS official Miomir Mugosa of his immunity. “It is difficult to say right now because we need to see all the facts. If this is needed to get to the bottom of the case, of course we will support it,” Rastoder said. Rastoder is also the vice president of the ruling Socialist Democratic Party. Chief State Prosecutor Ranka Carapic said that the committee, based on the stats and documents gathered, did not find a reason to initiate the process against Mugosa. Earlier this week, Podgorica Mayor Miomir Mugosa was accused of physically attacking a newspaper editor and his photographer. The first man of the Montenegrin capital allegedly teamed up with his son Miljan to assault daily Vijesti's Mihailo Jovovic and Boris Pejovic.
