BANJA LUKA -- Republic of Srpska (RS) Premier Milorad Dodik met with NIS CEO Kirill Kravchenko in Banja Luka on Thursday.

They discussed the possibilities for NIS to make investments in the Serb entity of Bosnia-Herzegovina, according to a statement from the meeting.

The RS government said that Kravchenko expressed interest of the Serbian Oil Industry (NIS) in investing in the RS energy sector, while the government said it would provide all available assistance to the Russo-Serbian company.

Dodik and Kravchenko also agreed to "consider all possibilities to make that cooperation concrete" in the coming period.

Russia's oil and gas giant Gazrpom owns 51 percent of NIS, while the remaining 49 percent are held by the Serbian government.
