Simon Polikarp is the first black man to stand as a candidate for the Macedonian parliament. Polikarp, of Nigerian origin, has lived in Stip, a town in eastern Macedonia, for many years, and is the first candidate on the TMRO party’s list in the election district that covers the east of Macedonia.
