He pointed out that Izetbegovic, in an interview with Deutsche Welle, expressed his personal attitude towards Kosovo and Metohija (KiM) and other matters related to Serbia, "so this will be taken into account and our policy will be positioned accordingly."

Vucic also told reporters in Arandjelovac that "the words war, conflict and recognition of some territories are not reached for just like that," and added that "our reaction will be to analyze everything and take into account what some people's desires and hopes are, and accordingly, as a responsible country, take a stand."

"Some say this based on fake news - well, it would have been better if (the originally reported, inaccurate statement of Izetbegovic) remained that way, than what we could hear. It would have been better if he had said 'yes' rather than 'I hope' (that BiH would recognize KiM) - because that 'yes' could have been the result of objective circumstances of who knows what kind, whereas 'I hope yes' shows a personal attitude towards the issue," Vucic said.

He said that at Thursday's session of the Council for National Security would also consider the situation in the region with a special focus on BiH, discussions related to Kosovo, as well as the issue of organizing and reorganizing our security forces.

Vucic added that he was "appalled" by the statements coming from "those who always find enough reasons to blame their country and leadership, even when we did nothing."
