President Aleksandar Vucic on Tuesday received Israel's Ambassador Alona Fisher-Kamm, to discuss "overall bilateral relations" between the two countries.

President happy with increasing Israeli investments

The two interlocutors "noted that Israeli investors are expanding their field of interest and that this is an indicator that a favorable business environment is being created in our country, but that more needs to be done to represent Serbia's potential in Israel," the statement added.

Vucic "emphasized that Serbia respects the right of Israel to exist and to peaceful life."

The Israeli ambassador explained her country's position towards UNESCO, following the announcement of Israel's withdrawal from that specialized UN agency.

The president and the Israeli ambassador also discussed the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, as well as "other regional and international issues," the statement said.
