This, Rakic said, was the only request of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic during his meeting with representatives of Serbs from Kosovo in Belgrade earlier in the day, attended also by Director of the Serbian Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric.

Rakic said that Vucic gave his "unreserved" support to the Serb List candidates for mayors and councilors.

"President Aleksandar Vucic had one request, that we are united, and we will be. On October 22, we will be united in leading our brothers, sisters, friends to the polling stations, and show everyone for whom Serb unity is not a priority and whose personal interests are more important, where their place is, by sending them to the political past," he said.

Rakic added that representatives of the Serb List are also "rejoicing at the fact" that creating conditions for a better life of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, which implies peace, security, survival, and sustainable survival will be priorities of the government and the president of Serbia.
